This test tells you something about your personality based on the seat you choose when you go to the cinema… So, where do you usually sit?

The test was developed by the Japanese psychologist Hiromi Mizuki. According to this psychologist, there are a lot of different theories about how our heart and brain functions can affect us when choosing a seat in the movie theater.

It’s quite an interesting and fun test, although it’s up to you to decide if you think the test is accurate. To take the test, you have to choose a seat where you would prefer to sit in the cinema, on the basis of which we will tell you what this choice says about your personality.

You would prefer to be in group A

You are confident, determined and assertive as these are the best seats in the room. Therefore, you need to arrive early, reserve the seats and above all do something to have control over the situation.

If you look at the image, you can see that this idea isn’t that far-fetched at all and that these are really the chairs that everyone would most like to sit in. However, since we always put everything off to the last minute, hand out tasks to others, or for a host of other reasons, some of us never manage to get our hands on these coveted seats.

You would prefer to be in group B

You are calm, serene, shy and prone. You can see the screen well from these seats, but they are quite far from the coveted seats in the middle row. The seats in group B are the ones a movie critic or someone who has just arrived late would choose.

Just look at the picture, you can see that these chairs offer space and tranquility and make you feel like you are alone in the room. These are also not the chairs that everyone would want to sit in. This is because these seats are too far from the screen. This means that even if you arrive late, these seats will probably still be available.

You would prefer to be in group C

You are sociable and like to feel connected to other people as you sit in the place where you can see the whole screen. You like strong emotions and good friends, who are always ready to help when they need it.

If you would prefer to choose one of these chairs, then you certainly love to experience intense emotions. The entire visual and sound impact of the film comes directly to you.

You would prefer to be in group D

You like your privacy. You don’t like it when others can watch you and you don’t like to draw attention to yourself. That is why you have chosen one of the chairs that you can easily get out of quietly to go to the toilet during the movie. You don’t talk at all during the movie and all your attention is focused on the movie.

When making friends, you very carefully choose people who make you feel comfortable and with whom you can relax. If you look at the picture, you will see that this is a very discreet place to choose.

You’re a pretty quirky person who likes to watch what others are doing, but doesn’t like to be observed yourself. Because of the discretion and privacy, this is also the place in the room where couples in love often sit.

You would prefer to be in group F

From these seats you can see the screen the worst, so usually people here who simply accept their fate submissively without complaining. In reality, it shows great stamina to remain seated in these chairs.

Of course we often can’t choose where we prefer to sit and we have to sit on a chair that is still free. In this case, the test does not apply. The test may well be applicable to the people around us, who did have the chance to choose where they preferred to sit.
